Accessibility statement

Globe Roofing is committed to making globeroofing.co.uk accessible to as many people as possible, including those using assistive technology.

This statement applies to all pages on globeroofing.co.uk.

How accessible this website is

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. The site was rebuilt to that standard in September 2026. The build included:

• keyboard access to every page, menu and FAQ section, with a visible focus indicator and a skip to content link
• colour contrast for text and controls in line with WCAG ratios
• content that reflows on a 320 pixel wide screen and at 200% zoom without horizontal scrolling
• text alternatives for images, and no text presented as part of an image
• form fields with visible labels, and errors described in text
• headings in order and page landmarks for screen reader users
• reduced animation for visitors who have asked their device to limit motion

We checked the site during the rebuild through self-assessment, using automated and manual testing. It has not been independently audited, so we do not claim that it fully conforms to WCAG 2.2 Level AA.

Known limitations

Any parts of this website we know do not yet meet the standard, or have not yet been tested, are listed here.

In September 2026 we checked every page on the site with the axe-core automated checker against the WCAG 2.2 Level A and AA rules. We also tested by hand: the menus, FAQ sections, slideshow controls and mobile menu with a keyboard, every page on a 320 pixel wide screen, and a sample of pages at 200% zoom. The problems that testing found have been fixed. These limitations remain:

• The site has not yet been tested with screen readers such as NVDA, JAWS or VoiceOver. Automated checks cannot confirm everything a screen reader user experiences.
• Some links open in a new window or tab without telling you first. These include the social sharing links on articles, email links in articles and some links to other websites.
